Rush Chute is the line skiers left of Lift Gully. The first and only consistently skiable line though the West Side Cliffs. Above the chute itself is a convexity peaking in the mid 40 degree range. This funnels down into the chute itself which is about 40 feet long, 4 feet wide at it’s narrowest, and about 40 degrees. After you get through the choke it fans out nicely into a mellow apron below the cliffs.
There are other options when the snowpack is really deep, Rush 2, immediately to the skiers left of Rush being the next most frequently skied. In theory Rush 3 and Rush 4 exist but I would consider those more just approaches to large cliff drops rather than actual ski lines.
