Byers Peak North Bowl

Another awesome objective on Byers Peak, the North Bowl actually has longer sustained steep skiing than the Summit Line does and can be a good option if the chutes off the summit aren’t filled in all the way, if your tour is taking longer than expected, or if the weather isn’t great. Drop in from pretty much anywhere along the ridge, depending on the snowpack there are some decent cliffs in this zone if that’s what you’re looking for. At it’s steepest it’s closer to 40° but it stays in the upper 30′s for much of the first 750 vert.

Follow the same descent options that you have from the Summit Line.
